Virtual RowAround Scotland was masterminded by the section pilots (below), who had already written passage plans for their legs. They then nominated/encouraged clubs to write up their virtual legs. Sometimes the pilots had to write the daily logs themselves; the coordinator, as well as soliciting, editing and formatting the offerings, was obliged to fill in on occasion. Some clubs and pilots sent in their contributions well ahead of time, others the night before and some even retrospectively! So it was a wee job. Well, quite a big one actually.
