A skiff was crewed by representatives from five of the original six clubs who formed the Scottish Coastal Rowing Association in 2010. Stuart Mack (cox, Cockenzie & Port Seton), Robbie Wightman (stroke, North Berwick), Topher Dawson (Ullapool), Elsie Deas (St Ayles, Anstruther) and Ali Grant (RowPorty, Portobello). The sixth founder club was Coigach, not present.

The two batons, Community and Spirit, being handed over
The skiff rowed into the beach at the Loch Tummel Sailing Club and the two batons, Community and Spirit, were handed over to representatives of the two newest coastal rowing clubs. Both had launched their skiffs in 2021 and accepted the batons on behalf of all the new clubs who have joined the coastal rowing community over the past decade.

Vikki Reay Martin from Wigtown Bay received one of the batons from Elsie, whilst Beth Dark and Angus Ross from the Loch Tay club received the second baton from RowAround Supremo Sue Fenton.

A baton will be displayed in the Scottish Fisheries Museum in Anstruther, alongside the RowAround logbook.
